code for it-self

Do androids dream of the proletariat revolution?

Code and coder have a really intimate relationship.
Written code is the result of labour of the coder, but when executing, code becomes a tool, a means of production.

These works explore the intricacies of those relationships, and try to explore the idea of code by itself and for itself, and look at it when it stops being just a means, and becomes an end.

Polyminis

Polyminis was originally conceived as an experiment, and eventually got picked up by the prestigious Advanced Game Project program at USC and was presented as part of the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 shows.

Polyminis explores the idea of evolving and interacting with artificial life in a playful manner, exposing evolution as a system that can be toyed with and contemplated.
