Sparking a revolt

revolution solid exists to hack the perceived gaps between art, play, and tech. It’s the long lost spawn of a 90’s arcade and a bohemian art gallery, a place for art appreciation and playfulness to become one.

While we might not have yet the full answer to “What is revolution solid?” we can tell you what we aspire it to become: A place in which the boundaries that have historically put on creativity, creatives and creative endeavours get totally and utterly fucked.

If – as Jonathan Larson wrote – “The opposite of war isn’t peace. It’s creation” then you can consider us the most anti-war group out there, and that’s about as much of a definition we can give to you right now.

Collaborators

Ricardo Sisnett.

Sisnett is a software developer and game developer with the heart of a researcher and the soul of a hacker.

With more than a decade and a half of experience and software that has reached tenths of millions, he moonlights as a creative coder and experimental technologist.
He is mostly interested in the intersection of new technologies, play and art, and novel ways of exploring their frontiers.

Claudia Cisneros.

Claudia Cisneros [MX] is a multidisciplinary artist who works with sensitive cognition. With studies in visual arts, performance practices and fashion design, she has created visual and performance pieces as well as curated and developed content for art, performance and applied pedagogy programs.

She held a number of participations in cultural institutions and independent art spaces such as TBA21 Academy, Centro Cultural Universitario UNAM, Alumnos 47, MAZ Museo de Arte de Zapopan, Museo Cabañas, FID Festival Internacional de Danza de Jalisco, OCAC Oklahoma Contemporary Art Center among others. Her work has been published in Mexico, Spain and the USA.

Her practice combines image theory, body methodologies, and data analysis for the development of a method that seeks a critical understanding of images based on physical experience.

Consulting

We can provide guidance and expertise in areas such as software and game development, techniques and technologies for installation art, and perspectives in the horizons of interactive pieces.

While we’re always interested in commercial projects, we’re most excited about collaborating with other art collectives, museums and non-profit oriented organizations.
